Meet a Colleague from our Engineering Team

I have been with Land Systems for more than 23 years, after starting as a part-time intern. I joined because I was intrigued about working for a world leader in defense systems and military support. I wanted to be part of an organization that delivered direct and immediate results to our troops in the field.

Meet a Colleague from our Anniston Operations

I have worked at Land Systems’ Anniston Operations for 15 years in a Continuous Improvement role. I hold a few professional certifications and plan to pursue more because my grandfather used to say that you never should turn down an opportunity to learn and challenge yourself.

Giving back to the communities in which we live, work and play is extremely important for us. We make a difference in our communities through contributions to health care, arts and culture and charitable organizations. Apart from our donations and sponsorships as an organization, our employees give their time and resources to local organizations such as the United Way.

Contributions to the Future of Energy and Climate Change

At Land Systems, we are committed to helping stop climate change by advancing our sustainability agenda, which includes energy reduction. We have proudly established ‘green teams’ that generate new initiatives for energy reduction at our sites. Some of these initiatives include upgrading lighting, replacing high-power-consuming equipment with high-efficiency ones, procuring renewable energy from third-party providers and installing water bottle fill stations.

We also are pursuing energy efficiency in our products, innovating hybrid- and electric-drive vehicles.


These are just some of the things we’re doing for the environment. We are continually looking for ways to be energy-efficient and lower our consumption.
