Oral Health Month
Dear Land Systems Colleagues,
With April being ‘Oral Health Month’, it is a perfect time to highlight your dental benefits that ultimately help you and your family, maintain your oral health and overall health.
Your mouth performs a range of important daily activities including eating, drinking, talking and smiling. But did you know your mouth can also provide clues to other diseases? During routine checkups, dentists not only look for cavities and gum disease, but also monitor symptoms that can urge patients to seek medical attention. Many common diseases have oral symptoms and can be detected in the dental chair.
If enrolled in any of our dental plans, it’s a good time to take control of your oral health by visiting your dental provider for preventative and restorative care, diagnostics, endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics and more including:
- Oral exams
- Cleanings
- X-rays
- Scaling
- Fluoride
- Fillings
- Root canal therapy
- Tooth extractions
- Braces
And remember, preventative care like basic cleaning and oral exams are at no cost to you!
