Internships at General Dynamics Land Systems offer a first-hand experience with the work and mission that define GDLS. You’ll collaborate with innovative teams and contribute to projects that matter.

We provide summer and yearlong internships, many of which transition into full-time roles after graduation. Our opportunities span computer science, engineering, math, physics, information technology, security, finance, human resources and marketing.

Internship Program Requirements:

  • Candidate must be attending a four-year university or college accredited by ACE (American Council on Education) and have at least sophomore status at the start of the internship
  • Must be a U.S. Person (a lawful permanent resident of the U.S. as a citizen or Green Card holder)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to complete a three-month assignment, working full time for the duration
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred, not required
  • Candidate must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check and must provide an original transcript from his/her school before first day of employment
