General Dynamics Business Units to Participate in AUSA 2025
RESTON, Va. – Four business units of General Dynamics will be among the exhibitors at the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) annual meeting and exposition, scheduled for October 13-15 in Washington, D.C. Following is a list of General Dynamics products and solutions that will be displayed at the event.
GENERAL DYNAMICS LAND SYSTEMS (Booth 6027)
NEXUS: A concept vehicle to enable Mission Command on the Move, the NGC2-ready Expeditionary X-domain Undetectable Stryker (NEXUS) starts with an existing Stryker A1 and adds a higher roof and redesigned sidewalls, providing additional cargo volume and internal height for extended command post operations on maneuver. The vehicle’s advanced computing power enables the command of multiple unmanned ground and air systems, and NEXUS also can “hide in plain sight” by using Human-Machine Integration to reduce signatures across the visual, thermal, acoustic and electromagnetic spectrums.
Pandur SHORAD: A 6×6 solution for comprehensive maneuver short-range air defense, Pandur SHORAD features Moog’s RIwP turret integrated onto a Pandur Evo combat vehicle. Built for global customers, Pandur SHORAD offers enhanced command and control, plus protected mobility and modular lethal payloads for infantry brigades. Its gross vehicle weight is lighter than the fielded SGT Stout, which supports armored brigades. Critical drivetrain components also are mounted internally to maximize reliability and durability.
TRX Leonidas: Displayed in Epirus’ booth (7609), TRX Leonidas is a jointly developed solution for mobile, unmanned counter-UAS and short-range air defense. The platform features Epirus’ Leonidas high-power microwave array integrated onto Land Systems’ Tracked Robot 10-ton (TRX) vehicle for cost-effective drone defeat with unlimited magazine depth.
MUTT XM: A next-generation robotic vehicle delivering eXpanded Mobility via increased power generation, payload capacity and ground speed, MUTT XM leverages the proven electronic architecture and mobility technologies fielded in the Army’s Small Multipurpose Equipment Transport (S-MET). At AUSA, MUTT XM will be equipped with an XM915 three-barrel 20mm gatling gun from GD Ordnance and Tactical Systems, mounted on Kongsberg’s RS6 weapon station. This system provides counter-UAS capability when connected to battle management software systems.
PERCH: The Precision Effects & Reconnaissance, Canister-Housed (PERCH) technology, created in partnership with AV, is a modular kit that integrates Aerovironment Switchblade SB300 and SB600 loitering munitions into M1A2 Abrams SEPv3 and Stryker vehicles for beyond-line-of-sight surveillance and lethality. It operates on existing vehicle computer systems and does not require welding nor cutting for mounting.
VITALS: Vehicle Intelligence Tools & Analytics for Logistics and Sustainment (VITALS) is Land Systems’ solution for predictive and prognostic maintenance. VITALS provides forward-looking, decision-actionable logistics information to troops and their leaders through artificial intelligence and machine learning. The software increases operational readiness rates while decreasing logistics footprints and reducing lifecycle costs. Portions of VITALS already are fielded within Stryker Brigade Combat Teams and are being experimented on throughout the Army and on joint force platforms.
GENERAL DYNAMICS MISSION SYSTEMS (Booth 6227)
RAMPART CMOSS Chassis: The RAMPART family of chassis is designed to enable the Joint Force version of a standards-based C5ISR ecosystem promoting system upgradability, modularity, reduced SWaP, improved logistics and rapid capability evolution. Supported by the broad availability of 3U OpenVPX payload capabilities, the chassis is designed to fit within the SINGCARS radio space in any vehicle or platform. It collapses several capabilities (APNT, Radio, EW) into one system featuring individual slots where 3U OpenVPX processor cards can be inserted and upgraded rapidly with a variety of capabilities. The system features 100GB interconnect speed to support current and future functionality.
PhantomLink: The PhantomLink Free Space Optics system provides reliable laser communications for the tactical environment, enabling a high-bandwidth transport for modernized mobile command posts. The system combines a state-of-the-art optical terminal with a waveform-adaptable optical modem. This combination provides high link availability with maximum flexibility and interoperability. The PhantomLink system combines novel error correction capabilities and advanced pointing, acquisition and tracking to provide a high-capacity, difficult-to-intercept communications link that is operationally effective in otherwise challenging atmospheric conditions. The system operates outside of the regulated spectrum, allowing for rapid deployment in support of military operations.
NGC2 Comms: Mission Systems’ approach to delivering Next Generation Command and Control Communications to the battlefield. Comprised of various transport layers that operate at beyond line of sight, line of sight or both, the exhibit will demonstrate how the Mounted Command and Control (MC2) Hub, the PhantomLink Free Space Optics and the Digital Radio Head can work together seamlessly to move data around the battlefields of tomorrow. Combined with the tactical-edge computing capabilities of the RAMPART CMOSS chassis, these systems offer Soldiers unparalleled command and control capabilities.
Next Gen Survival Radio: NGSR is a U.S Air Force-led program for the Joint Force providing line-of-sight voice and secure, over-the-horizon, two-way data communications that help combat search-and-rescue teams quickly locate, authenticate and rescue downed pilots and isolated military personnel. The radio sends encrypted global positioning information, user identification and situation reports to provide rescue teams and aircraft operating in hazardous conditions with quick and accurate location information. The new NGSR is significantly smaller, lighter and has better power efficiency than previous CSAR radios.
Integrated Mission Planning and Airspace Control Tools (IMPACT) demo: The IMPACT demo will show how the IMPACT software suite converges the mission-planning capabilities of the Aviation Mission Planning Systems (AMPS) with the airspace control capabilities of the Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS) into a single, role-based, hardware-agnostic, software-centric solution. IMPACT will span command post, mobile/handheld and mounted computing environments, including the Aviation Mission Command Server (AMCS) on aviation platforms and will provide greater Army, joint and partner-nation interoperability.
Smart Munitions: This exhibit will feature a host of key weapon subsystems capabilities comprised of Assured PNT capabilities, Software-Defined Radios (SDR) and guidance electronic units as part of an integrated solution to improve the kill chain for long-range precision fires and associated weapons platforms.
GPS Source Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) solutions: Fight Tonight and Modified Reception Pattern Antenna (MRPA) Assured PNT solutions for GPS-challenged environments are based on the Joint Force-defined threat conditions and have scalable, low-cost and easy-to-install solutions for the majority of the Army tactical ground vehicle fleet.
Modular Instrumented MDO Integrated Capability: MIMIC is a family of unattended passive or active nodes designed to mimic adversarial battlefield capabilities, enabling U.S. and coalition forces to train more realistically in a Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) environment. Designed around a core of common components and utilizing affordable, commercial-off-the-shelf, software-defined radios and operating software, each node can be configured to represent a different “personality” – e.g., RF Surveillance, HF Emitter, VHF/UHF Emitter, EO/IO Sensor and Radar Signal Simulator.
Secure Network & Voice Products: TACLANE High Assurance encryption solutions are interoperable and NSA-certified, providing widely deployed classified voice and data protection for national security systems, information and networks at the highest levels. The Sectéra vIPer Universal Secure Phone allows users to easily switch between making end-to-end secure and non-secure calls on Voice over IP and analog networks, eliminating the need for multiple desktop phones. The ProtecD@R Multi-Platform Encryptor (KG-204) provides high-speed classified Data at Rest protection for manned and unmanned systems. The GEM One Encryptor Manager is a robust, easy-to-use, enterprise-level remote encryptor management solution that enables administrators to visualize and manage a network of dispersed encryption devices from anywhere in the network. We secure the mission from tactical edge to enterprise.
TACDS: TACDS, Mission Systems’ tactical cross-domain solution (CDS), enables high-value information to be shared and transmitted across different security domains across the most austere environments. TACDS empowers the warfighter to share the right data with the right people at the right time, as demonstrated during the recent PEO IEW&S Scarlet Dragon Experimentation, where Integrated Sensor Architecture was utilized to transmit EW data from Beast+ sensors across TACDS and then securely transferred into MAVEN Smart System, an AI-enabled platform. Learn more about this experimentation and the innovation utilized in this rapid integration testing to support rapid decision making across the tactical battlefield.
Miniature Adaptable Crypto (MAC) (KIV-80): The MAC appliqué brings legacy Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) crypto capability forward in a smaller, crypto modernized package. The MAC is small enough to enable Group 2+ unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and SWaP-constrained platforms with critical security.
GENERAL DYNAMICS ORDNANCE AND TACTICAL SYSTEMS (Booth 6041)

This multi-mission suite of 155mm artillery munitions provides long-range, high-impact support to safeguard the warfighter in demanding combat environments.
Active protection and weapon systems: Iron Fist is the trusted Active Protection System that utilizes independent optical sensors, tracking radar, launchers and countermeasure munitions to defeat threats at a safe distance. GDOTS also produces high-performance 20mm, 25mm and 30mm gun systems for aircraft and naval platform integration, as well as counter-UAS applications.

Zero trust-based coalition Interoperability: GDIT’s zero trust-enabled solutions allow Soldiers to securely and dynamically collaborate with mission partners.
