- GENERAL DYNAMICS LAND SYSTEMS APPOINTS GONIAS
VICE PRESIDENT OF CONTRACTS AND ESTIMATING -

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. - General Dynamics Land Systems has appointed G. John Gonias vice president of Contracts and Estimating.

Gonias, age 45, joined Land Systems in August 1996 as Director of Contracts and Material for its amphibious systems operation in Woodbridge, Virginia.

Prior to joining Land Systems, Gonias held positions of increasing responsibility over 18 years at General Dynamics' former Convair Division in San Diego, California, where his last assignment was Director of Contracts and Estimating.

Gonias holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Iowa State University.

He and his wife Diane and their daughter reside in Oakland Township, Michigan.
