- GENERAL DYNAMICS APPOINTS
PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT MANAGER -
FUTURE SCOUT RECONNAISSANCE VEHICLE -
STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. -- General Dynamics Land Systems has appointed Robert (Bob) V. Sorge Program Development Manager - Future Scout Reconnaissance Vehicle. He will report directly to Donald S. Pihl, Vice President, Business Acquisition and Program Development.
Sorge is responsible for developing, planning, and implementing business strategies in pursuit of the U.S. Armys Future Scout Reconnaissance Vehicle program. He will be the primary interface for Land Systems with the other team members, Lockheed Martin and British Aerospace.
During Sorges 12 years with General Dynamics, he has held positions of increasing responsibility within the Engineering and Program Management functions. His most recent assignment was Program Manager for Spares and Strategic Initiatives. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, and served five years as a nuclear submarine officer.
