STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich.-- William C. Ryan has been appointed Director of Finance at General Dynamics.
Ryan is responsible for financial planning, business analysis, rate development, and revenue management for Land Systems Division and its subsidiaries. In addition, Ryan will oversee Land Systems' Tallahassee, Florida operations' accounting, forecasting, and audit functions.
Ryan joined General Dynamics in 1968. His most recent position was Director, Engineering Finance. Prior to that position, Ryan was Manager, Financial Planning and Business Analysis.
Ryan holds a B.S. in Accounting from Walsh College, and an M.A. in Business Management from Central Michigan University.
General Dynamics Land Systems is a world leader in the development, production, integration, and support of armor vehicles, technology, and electronic systems. Land Systems builds the M1A2 Abrams main battle tank, the Single Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS), the Heavy Assault Bridge, the FOX M93A1 nuclear biological chemical reconnaissance system, and associated equipment. Land Systems is also the only U.S. Army contractor currently providing command, control, and communications systems developed for and integrated on armored combat vehicles.
