General Dynamics Land Systems Appoints Bolon, Gillette, Roualet and Ulrich to Senior Vice President

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. - General Dynamics Land Systems has appointed Michael D. Bolon to the position of senior vice president, Engineering, Design & Development; Richard O. Gillette to the position of senior vice president, Production, Delivery and Support; Mark C. Roualet to the position of senior vice president, Ground Combat Systems; and John C. Ulrich to the position of senior vice president, International Wheeled Systems.

The appointments recognize and support the integration of the recently acquired General Motors Defense business into General Dynamics Land Systems. General Dynamics Land Systems is a business of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD).

Bolon is responsible for Land Systems' research and development, systems engineering, product design, systems integration, prototype fabrication, testing and logistics engineering. He also serves as president of Eagle Enterprise, a General Dynamics company focused on system-of-systems technology integration. Bolon's most recent position was vice president, Engineering, Design and Development. Significant past assignments include vice president, Production and Delivery; vice president, Amphibious Systems; and director, Advanced Programs. Bolon holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering and a master's in engineering from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Gillette is responsible for manufacturing, delivery and support of domestic and international production programs. His most recent position was vice president, Production Delivery and Support. Prior key assignments include director, Abrams Tank Programs and plant manager - Lima Army Tank Plant. Gillette holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial technology and education from Ohio State University and a master of science degree in business administration from Central Michigan University.

Roualet is responsible for all ground combat systems which include the Abrams main battle tank and derivatives, artillery, domestic wheeled vehicle programs and propulsion systems. His most recent position was vice president, Wheeled Vehicle Systems. Prior key assignments include vice president, Interim Brigade Combat team program and vice president, Operations at AV Technology. He holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Michigan Technological University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio.

Ulrich is responsible for General Dynamics Land Systems' newly acquired business operations in Canada, Switzerland and Australia. His most recent position was deputy director of GM Defense. Other key assignments at GM Defense include chief financial officer and controller. Ulrich holds a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin and a master of business administration degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois.
