Kaelin will be responsible for assembly operations in support of the U.S. ArmyÆs Interim Armored Vehicle (IAV) Program. He will also direct product modification of the U.S. Army's Fox Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle and production of the Gunners Primary Sight for the Abrams main battle tank.
Kaelin gained significant manufacturing, assembly, and engineering experience during assignments of increasing responsibility at the Lima Army Tank Plant in Lima, Ohio, and Anniston Operations.
A native of Louisville, Kentucky, he joined Land Systems in 1982 as a manufacturing engineer and progressed to manufacturing engineering manager in 1990. He became Fox and GPS site manager, Anniston Operations in April 1996. Kaelin holds a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Vanderbilt University, and a bachelor of arts business administration from University of Alabama.
