GENERAL DYNAMICS LAND SYSTEMS APPOINTS HICKMOTT CONTROLLER, GM GDLS DEFENSE GROUP

General Dynamics Land Systems has appointed Dennis M. Hickmott Controller of the GM GDLS Defense Group, a joint venture (JV) between General Motors and General Dynamics Land Systems. Hickmott will be responsible for monitoring JV and subcontractor performance, coordinating all revenue management activities, and tracking and reporting workshare allocation between subcontractors.

He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and business education from Eastern Michigan University and a master's degree in business administration from Wayne State University. Hickmott has been with General Dynamics Land Systems for more than 18 years, and has held positions of increased responsibility within the Finance organization. His most recent assignment was as manager of Rate Development and Administration.

The GM GDLS Defense Group JV was recently selected by the U.S. Army to produce up to six brigades of Interim Armored Vehicles in support of their transformation objective.
