STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – The United States Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command has awarded General Dynamics Land Systems a $20 million contract to provide systems technical support for the Abrams tank program. General Dynamics Land Systems is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE:GD).
This contract is a modification to the sole-source contract initiated on April 17, 1996. It exercises the existing options for engineering in support of Abrams production. Work will be performed at General Dynamics facilities in Sterling Heights, Michigan.
