- GENERAL DYNAMICS APPOINTS WEINBERG MUSKEGON OPERATIONS PLANT MANAGER -

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – General Dynamics Land Systems has appointed Bruce D. Weinberg plant manager of its Muskegon Operations.  Weinberg will be responsible for the Machining, Power Train Assembly and Test Center of Excellence located in Muskegon, Michigan, succeeding Robert C. Turner who is now solely dedicated to the Scranton Center of Excellence as plant manager.

Weinberg brings to this position significant experience in the manufacturing and quality environments having held positions of increasing responsibility in both areas at the Lima Army Tank Plant in Lima, Ohio.

A native of west Michigan, he joined Land Systems in 1982 as a quality control engineer and progressed to quality assurance manager in 1988. Weinberg was appointed assembly plant manager in 1992, assuming an additional programs manager role in 1994.

He holds a bachelor of science degree in engineering arts from Michigan State University, and an MBA from Ashland College.
