- GENERAL DYNAMICS AWARDED $10.3 MILLION CONTRACT MODIFICATION
FOR ABRAMS SYSTEMS TECHNICAL SUPPORT -
STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. - The United States Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command has awarded General Dynamics Land Systems a $10.3 million contract modification to exercise its option to continue Systems Technical Support (STS) for the Abrams tank program through 31 July 2001. The original sole source contract was awarded in May 1996.
The engineering support work will be done at Land Systems' Sterling Heights, Michigan, facility with the existing manpower.
