STRUCTURES AND MECHANICAL SYSTEMS -

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. - General Dynamics Land Systems has appointed Gordon Shutek director, Structures and Mechanical Systems.

Shutek will be responsible for providing management and technical leadership in Mechanical Systems, Structures, and Survivability Engineering activities. He has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Tennessee and has been with Land Systems since 1996. His most recent assignment was department manager, Mechanical Systems and Design Integration at Land Systems' Muskegon, Michigan, operation.
