- GENERAL DYNAMICS LAND SYSTEMS APPOINTS REDD
VICE PRESIDENT AND CONTROLLER -

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. - General Dynamics Land Systems has appointed Lloyd H. (Hugh) Redd vice president and controller. Redd is relocating from General Dynamics' corporate headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia, where he was staff vice president and assistant treasurer.

Redd has over 17 years experience in finance. He joined General Dynamics at its Fort Worth Division in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1986 after four years with Arthur Anderson and Company. Redd joined General Dynamics' corporate headquarters in 1989 as a corporate senior tax administrator. Since then, he has held several corporate positions of increasing responsibility in Financial Analysis and Treasury Operations.

Redd holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University, a master's degree in Professional Accountancy from the University of Texas, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
