General Dynamics Land Systems Names Fata Scranton Plant Manager

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich.  – General Dynamics Land Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has announced that Frank J. Fata, 49, has been promoted to manager of its Scranton, Pa., plant.  The appointment is effective immediately.

Fata replaces Dean. C. Roualet, who now manages General Dynamics Land Systems’ Tallahassee (Fla.) Operations. 

Fata is now responsible for the Scranton facility’s production and delivery operations.  He has more than 20 years of experience in plant operations and was most recently the facilities manager at the Scranton Plant. He earned an associate’s degree in Electronics Technology from Johnson Technical College.

The General Dynamics Land Systems Scranton Plant manufactures suspension components and subassemblies for armored vehicles.   General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (St. Petersburg, Fla.) has separate manufacturing operations in Scranton.
