| HIGHLIGHTS: |
Among the key General Dynamics products and services on exhibit are:
- General Dynamics’ Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) Candidate: The JLTV is expected to provide the U.S. Army and Marine Corps with a family of more survivable vehicles with greater payload than the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle. See a model of General Dynamics’ proposed concept for this requirement.
- Stryker MGS: The Mobile Gun System variant of the vehicle consists of a General Dynamics Land Systems-designed 105mm cannon mounted in a low-profile turret that is integrated into the Stryker chassis.
- Mobile Detection Assessment Response Systems (MDARS): The MDARS robot autonomously performs random patrols around inventory-sensitive warehouses, air fields, ammunition supply depots and port facilities.
- Reconnaissance, Surveillance, Targeting and Acquisition System (RSTA System): Designed for RSTA missions using unmanned ground and surface vehicles.
- Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) HMS: Functional JTRS radios for handheld, manpack and small form fit use. See a live demonstration of the first two-channel JTRS radio running the Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW) on a Software Communications Architecture (SCA) platform.
- TCN-Mobile: Mobile command and control with Satcom-on-the-Move. See the latest packaging of mature WIN-T technologies.
- Land Warrior: This integrated fighting system dramatically increases the combat soldier's lethality, battle command compatibility, survivability, mobility, awareness, sustainability and combat effectiveness.
- The EDGEtm: New warrior innovations. Learn about a new collaboration initiative called the EDGE - a world-class technology center for warrior systems.
- MESHnettm: The latest integrated voice and data MESHnettm tactical communications products. The Communications Selector Box (CSB) provides access to intercom and voice services. The MESHnettm Switch/Router (MSR) links users, computers, and other devices to the network.
- Computer and Display Products: See in-service units and the latest in cut-glass and OLED (organic light-emitting diode) technologies and 3U (small form-factor) processing.
- Local Situational Awareness System (LSAS): See demonstrations of the latest fully digital LSAS to provide close-in threat detection for vehicles in complex and urban terrain.
- Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS): An all-weather precision guided rocket with increased accuracy that reduces the number of rockets required to take out a target.
- SPIDER: Stabilized Intrusion Detection System offers unique capabilities for improved situational awareness and actionable intelligence. It can be readily integrated into existing networks and is currently deployed worldwide for protection of borders, airports, seaports, critical facilities and military forces.
- 120mm M1028 Canister: The 120mm M1028 cartridge provides U.S. Army and Marine Corps ground units with superior offensive lethality and force protection capabilities needed in current operating environments.
- Detection/Protection: Visit displays on Joint Biological Point Detection Systems, Joint Service Lightweight Standoff Chemical Agent Detector, HYDRA-70 2.75-inch rocket system, MK47 grenade machine gun, 40mm CROWS (Common Remote Operated Weapon Station), Advanced Crew Served Weapon System, and Towed Artillery Digitization for XM777 and M119 towed howitzers.
- Common power management solutions: Explore common power management solutions for Abrams, Bradley, Stryker and other combat vehicles in the Heavy Brigade Combat Team (HBCT) and Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT).
