Quality Maintenance Support. CSSC offers an integrated
approach for maintenance and supply. Elements available include:
equipment maintenance, field modifications, freight forwarding,
total package fielding, logistics automated maintenance and supply
systems, bar-coded warehousing, repair parts support and/or procurement,
new equipment sustainment, training, and technical support for
both U.S. and foreign manufactured weapons systems.
CSSC's copyrighted Logistics Automated Maintenance and Supply System (LAMSS) is a unique personal computer (PC) based logistics package designed to meet a myriad of program requirements. A present, three configurations are available: Retail for Unit and Direct/General Support, Intermediate for Depot Repair Support, and Wholesale for Logistics Supply Management Automation. Use of available technical publications and training materials is the norm. Translated documentation is used when customer directed.
Cost Effective Vehicle Modernization-Upgrades. CSSC provides full systems integration for modernization requirements. CSSC has the ability to upgrade M41, M60-Series, M109, M110, M113-Series, and M1-Series combat vehicles. Modernization includes providing: upgrade concepts, identifying systems impact of upgrades, defining capability improvement, providing upgraded components and spares, vehicle retrofit, training, technical documentation, and technical assistance. CSSC will provide coproduction assistance or total modernization implementation, training, technical documentation, and technical assistance.
Depot & Manufacturing Expertise. CSSC has proven experience in establishing overhaul depots for M109, M110, M113-Series, M60-Series, M88 vehicles and M1-Series new vehicle manufacturing. This expertise encompasses construction management, facilitization, equipment specifications, equipment and tool procurement, installation, pilot production, transportation, quality assurance, training, technical documentation, and technical assistance in establishing overhaul and manufacturing.
Training Services. CSSC has successfully trained personnel in Depot Overhaul, New Manufacturing, and New Equipment Training (NET). CSSC has provided training in field maintenance environments. It currently provides M1A2 NET for the U.S.A., Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the State of Kuwait.
Utilizing our dedicated management team and experienced instructor team, CSSC identifies training needs and requirements; provides off-the-shelf training documentation; develops customized training courses and documentation; conducts formal on-the-job training; identifies and integrates training devices; and provides technical assistance for sustainment training of units in the field and the development of institutional training in garrison. Our capabilities ranges from soldier-operator and technical training, training of management, production and service quality inspection, manufacturing processes, to individual and unit training of soldiers. Customized training ranges from management training, quality inspector training and certification, welder certification and manufacturing process training to tactical training.
Technical Translation Services. In response to customer requests, CSSC established a translation services capability in 1992. CSSC translates technical documentation by teaming with our customer in developing a comprehensive technical glossary and continues this working relationship through to documentation acceptance. Our customer provides input and review throughout the translation process assuring an end product of high quality and user acceptance.
