STRYKER FAMILY
The Stryker got its name from two American heroes who posthumously received the Medal of Honor after saving the lives of fellow Soldiers in World War II and Vietnam, respectively. Introduced in 2000, the eight-wheeled, medium-weight Stryker has lived up to its name by saving countless numbers of Warfighters. Now the Stryker’s new Double-V Hull – known as the “gold standard of protection” – is protecting even more of our fighting men and women. The Stryker vehicle can reach speeds of more than 60 mph and handle any type of terrain. It also has 10 different configurations and 85% commonality across the entire fleet. That unparalleled combination of versatility, survivability, lethality and maneuverability is what makes this vehicle Stryker Strong.
