Drawing on field experience with our combat-proven Cougar, Mastiff, and Ridgback line of protected vehicles, the Tactical Support Vehicle System (TSV) was developed to provide survivable logistics support capability essential for mobile operations. Based on the successful Cougar/Mastiff 6X6, TSV is a multi-mission adaptable platform that can be configured to address a wide range of support tasks.
Asymmetrical warfare puts both tactical forces and support forces equally at risk. The dynamics of mobile engagement require that combat and security forces have logistical support that is capable of moving effectively with the flow of battle and surviving. This necessitates both ballistics and IED blast protection for logistics and support vehicles. Drawing on the success of the combat-proven Cougar/Mastiff line of protected vehicles, the Tactical Support Vehicle System (TSV) provides a survivable, mission-configurable platform for logistics support, maintenance support, rigid shelter transport, UAV support, refueling and can also serve as a tactical rocket platform.
