MARINE & NAVY
The U.S. Marine Corps must “be ready when the nation is least ready.” At General Dynamics Land Systems, we stand ready to help them do just that. We have a firm grasp of Marine Corps objectives and requirements and remain steadfast in our mission to develop next-generation vehicles and systems that meet the needs of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF). It is with that mission in mind that we continue to work towards becoming the premier supplier of USMC combat vehicles through a variety of efforts including:

   • Evolving the USMC Amphibious Family of Systems for ship-to-shore operations in
     permissive, uncertain, and hostile environments.
   • Developing an affordable Amphibious Combat Vehicle with the capabilities for a full
      range of USMC operations.
   • Creating a fully compliant Marine Personnel Carrier (MPC) that leverages existing
systems to maximize commonality while minimizing risk.
   • Upgrading the suspensions of Abrams M1A1s at Depot or Field Locations.
   • Providing modernization opportunities for the LAV II including increased mine blast
protection, energy attenuating seats and 360° under armor situational awareness.
   • Developing an affordable, low-risk, technologically sophisticated Anti-Tank Weapon
System for the LAV family of vehicles.
   • Improving the survivability of the LAV A2 through the upgrade of the suspension and
      power pack.
   • Providing enhancements to the AAV (Amphibious Assault Vehicle) family of vehicles
including blast-attenuating seats, integrated remote weapons stations and external
fuel tanks for increased Marine survivability.

General Dynamics will also continue to meet the specifications and requirements of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard through state-of-the-art systems and solutions like our medium caliber weapons stations. To learn more about General Dynamics Land Systems' vehicles, click here.
